Winter tire advise

I just purchased winter tires size 205 55 16 for my 2013 focus titanium with the 18" sport package. Tire dealer said these will work. I also purchased new rims 5/108 with hub rings. Please tell me this is correct. This is my first post. Thanks!

195/65-15 would be the standard size from here:http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=273962

One size smaller wouldn't be tragic, you'll be going slightly slower than the speedo indicates.

Still need to find some 15" wheels for the current car then replace 'em with the right size after you use 'em up this Winter.

Hello,

I just purchased a new ride a few days ago and it only came with the Eagle F1's or whatever is shipped with the 2014 Ford Focus ST's. I will need a set of 17" rims with TPMS & either quality winter or quality all-season's to use on the car during the 6+ months of the year when weather is not so great in the Chicago-land area. Thanks!

Check Tire Rack for a quick review of some options.

TPMS is a preference - whether you want to look at a light for 6 mo. or not.

Conti DWS is a common all season recommendation, Snows are the only choice if you want good traction when the weather really hits.

Anyone know the deal with late build 2014 STs and 16" wheel fitment?

Just got my 2014 ST a couple of weeks ago and am already thinking about winter tire options. Was originally planning on using the wife's 16" steelies from her 2012 SE with snow tires.

However, I noticed that on Tire Rack's site, you are required to specify whether your ST is a pre- or post-3/31/14 build. If you select post-3/31, you only see 17" and 18" choices.

Any Tire Rack folks (or anyone else) know what the deal is???

I've heard of a front brake change (larger).

You might need to try them as long as they're available.

I just purchased a 2010 Focus SE with 195/60/15 tires, and I have a set of Winter Tires on rims 205/55/16, that came off a previous 2005 Focus ZX5 I owned. My question is, will they fit the 2010? I have searched the forum, and this question has been asked but I haven't seen a definitive answer as to whether they will rub. They worked OK on the 2005.
Thanks
