Trailing throttle fueling?

Can one of the tuning gurus who have seen the program tell me what the injectors are doing on closed throttle, downhill, or engine braking conditions? I know that the porsche 944 was programed to feed no fuel under certain trailing throttle conditions, and was wondering if my 2001 Se Zetec 5pd wagon was set up the same - every mpg counts. Tia.

Closed Throttle Fuel Cut, investigate it.

And yes, every fuel injected car cuts fuel on decel. A carb does for the most part also.

Well yes technically in the Focus. But with a tune you can adjust that (or who ever writes the tune for you can).
And there is also a second delay if you tap the accelerator peddle after it has entered CFSO (Coasting Fuel Shut Off) ... that can also be adjusted with a tune.
It is also based on engine load, speed and RPM. Again, all can be adjusted.

For the most part, above 45MPH ... if you let off the peddle it will enter CFSO in a short time. Below 45MPH it will not enter at all.
