Try asking your question in another way, our cars COME with coil springs on the front struts - suspension in front isn't set up to place them elsewhere.

Some designs don't place the springs on the struts, doesn't apply for the Focus front suspension.

Maybe he meant coilovers?

But even so, yes you can put those on our cars.

Can't see the partsgeek link to struts/shocks, goes to an empty cart.

M2 springs are apparently an unwarrantied version of Megan springs from a quick search, seems they have more parts for imports. Search for user comments, can't remember them mentioned here offhand. Import guys seem to like them.

Second listing is for stock replacement Moog springs, no different than your current ones.

Try this:
http://www.partsgeek.com/cart/

the cart consists of
-KYB strut mounting kit
-KYB agx adjustable front struts and rear shocks
-KYB strut bellows
-KYB shock mounting kit
All priced at 412.90

and then the M2 lowering springs to go with all of that
Priced at 84.99

Link still doesn't work.

But no matter - that looks like a NICE set of shocks/struts/hdwe..

Why don't you post a new thread, "Any info. on M2/Megan Springs?" to try for some feedback on those if you can't find prev. threads mentioning them with a search.

Wouldn't normally suggest an extra thread, but this has wandered far from the original question.

Cheers

what type of performance are you looking for?

those pre-assembled SVT kits are outstanding value. and easy to install. THey will provide a small increase in handling performance for your car, slight 0.5" lowering while still maintaining a comfortable ride.

if you want better performance/lower then there are many kits out there.
