2013 ST VS. 2014 Titanium

I purchased a new tuxedo black titanium fully featured in december of 2013. loved it great car incredible interior, had a body kit from the factory. yesterday i saw a 2013 ST same exact color with 18k miles on it. i went to the dealer to look at it and managed to drive off the lot after a trade in of my 2014 which only had 2900 miles on it. got 19.5 for it and only paying 5 dollars more a month on the payment then i was with the titanium. I clearly understand the performance differences but in your guys' opinion is this a good deal. the car drives like a champ and the power difference is extremely significant noticing a difference right as i drove away. opinions on this trade. thanks in advance fellow focusers!

So how much did you end up paying after the trade in? And how much did you have left to pay on the '14 before the trade in?

I got my ST for around $33,000 like 2 years ago.

Usually you ask about these things before you make the decision lol. If I were in your shoes though I would have done the same thing as long as fuel economy wasn't a problem.

lmfao! i know what youre saying. i was just so excited when i test drove it lol. i was like screw it lol. but then i was just double thinking and thought id ask on here. im actually getting about 27.5 avg mpg and my 14 was at 25.2. so thats pretty nice. im happy with the trade in. but it was a very impulsive buy and didnt even think about doing it until noon the day of the trade with no aspiration of doing it at all. very spontaneous haha. the st has all the things my titanium has too except power seating its an st2 had nav and all the cool shtuff.

Not sure if this helps.

I recently found a couple ST1 with moon roof (not sure what else) here in the northeast new for your $23.8 ish price. If I remember correctly.

About a year ago I found a used ST3 (about 25k miles) for the price of a new ST1.

sounds to me like you got shafted badly. enjoy ur new car tho :)

ur payoff on 18k miles st is around 28-29k I take it... I would not want that st for 23.8k, should be less, around 18-20k. Titanium focus usualy cost about the same new vs st depending on options on both. I would take it back if possible lol.

Merged this post.

Personally it's kind of rude to say the person got shafted when they were happy with the deal they already did.

Moved thread to Focus ST The place to chat about general questions, window tinting, exterior body, interior and lighting upgrades for the MK3 2013 Focus ST.

If the O.P. is happy with his deal then let him be, sure he could have gotten a New ST for what he will end up paying, but it's too late to change that now.
