Hi,

The street is 68 durometer while race is 85 durometer.

The race being much stiffer bushing than the street. I would recommend the race stiffer bushings for high hp applications being turbo, supercharger , or nitrous. Someone that does autocross, road race, or rally may also want to look into the stiffer race bushing.

Hey William, w/ that^^^ Is the vf engineering one closer to the street? Or is it a lighter duty= below your street version?

VF will not give us the bushing information.

My Focus SVT has our CFM street mount. Given I broke two sets of vf mount bushings on my svtf. I want to say VF might be a little bit softer than the cfm street. That or being the CFM mount uses once piece bushings on both ends. The VF uses two piece bushings. The two piece design must not be as strong compared to the cfm one piece bushing design.

I have no issues with our CFM mount.

For a dogbone, I'd say it helps a lot more then a little vibe you'll see at idle.

Most of our customers order the street bushings. If you are someone that shifts the car hard often or likes to push the car to limits, I would recommend the stiffer race bushing. The race bushings is stiffer, so it is able to handle even more abuse. I recommend it for high hp applications too.

Felix noted it does have more vibrations mainly notice at idle.

Yes, It can. If you do not mind the added vibrations over the street bushing, you can go with the race bushing.
