"My Shaldan" brand organic freshners, apple or squash. They claim it's all natural and it lasts a pretty long time I think. Used to get that japanese csx air freshner in squash for years before that.

The place where I had my car detailed a week and a half ago uses these air freshener pads that they throw under your seats. They last quite a while. Come in cherry, leather and new car. I chose the new car and while not exactly a match for true new car, it's not bad!

I bought "Chemical Guys New Car Scent & Leather Scent" comes in a two pack, $13.98 Amazon Prime.

Really really like the Leather which reminds me of the scent of a new leather belt.

I cut a small sponge into 2 pieces, sprayed each sponge and placed one underneath passenger seat and the other under the driver's seat. Left car closed over night. NOTE: some of the on line reviews warned to avoid spraying the products on to plastic parts due to potential discoloring. I have ultimately sprayed onto cloth seats and carpet with absolutely no discoloration.

To be honest, I have to refresh the sponges frequently. However the bottles are quite large and should easily last a year or more.

As to the "New Car Scent", I followed the suggestion of a friend to try it with the "Leather Scent". After doing so I could not detect much of a difference. It certainly was not offensive.

After using the Leather for about a month, the scent seems to have become part of the car's interior in a very subtle and pleasant way.

LMAO
Years ago I had a coworker think it was funny to shovel a huge pile of snow onto the hood of my car
Payback was unlocking his car with my slim jim and putting 4 green trees between the seat foam and the seat springs in his car
Oddly enough he drove around with his windows open for the rest of the winter
He never did ask us where we put them
