Need a Spare tire for my 04 Svt

I purchased the car about 5 years ago and have never had a spare tire. I always knew there would come a time when I would need one and today was that day. I was at Discount Tire and the guy said I can get you a plain black steel rim if you want. I knew he couldn't because of the size and bolt pattern so I was like ok go ahead. No luck with that he said all he has is alloys and I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that will just be an emergency use. Any suggestions or guys that have the donut tire that would sell close by I am in Gastonia NC
thanks

I see them on eBay all the time, about $75 complete. Make sure to get the Svt version which is 16" to clear the brakes and is actually aluminum even though painted just like a steelie.

This^^^^^^^^^^^Like said above you need the special wheel/tire assembly to clear the calipers= a standard focus donut doesn't fit. A full size svt wheel/tire assembly fits in the well, which I have. It just needs a little rounded out in a couple areas.

It could work in a pinch if that's all he can find. If a rear went flat, the spare fits it just fine. If the front wheel went flat, you would just put the spare on the rear and then move wheel that was on the rear to the front.

Hassle but its doable.

Yea, you could do that, but if its cruddy weather & massive down pour, who wants to be out there any longer then need be.

If you are already buying something, just go for the SVT spare. It's one of the few SVT parts that is still easy to find. Many are nearly unused (mine has never been used). And it's cheap. By the time you buy a steel spare rim and a tire it will have already cost you $60 or more.
