I think this would help explaining it - they do disconnect tie rods and dropping subframe to do this.

Last one from the manual:
"Check front end and rear end alignment when installation is complete."

I've been scouring these threads regarding the FRPP handling kit for awhile and I'm still not clear - aren't *all* of the parts in the kit different than the Ti handling package (which I have on my '13)?

Or are there some parts that are the same?

EDIT: I bet I missed this somewhere (or multiple somewheres) and I'm going to get nailed for it. So I'll apologize in advance :p

The parts in the kit match up with Euro spec pieces.

Just ask Unida767 how we know ;)

Ah - found it. I must have skipped a page in this thread because I missed all of the pics with part numbers.

So is there general consensus then that for us Ti handling package focus its not really an upgrade?

Maybe I should just look at Steeda F/R antiroll bars then ...

Honestly it's not a huge upgrade for most unless you really wanted to stay OEM and had, lets say an S or 13+ SE.

For the price you could probably do better.

Hi guys I read through page 8 to 14.

I just want to know ti handling package difference vs Ford racing.

I know the springs are different. But what's the wheel gap difference?

I got mine measured at around 1.5" on my 17 winter and tire combo.

Are they the same sway bars and struts just different springs?

Thank you.

You might search the "Post your mods" thread to get an idea. My car is on page 688 I think (frosted glass, black Drag DR19 wheels, Vogtland springs)

I imagine someone on there has the FR springs, and lots of guys running sprortlines and H&Rs.

I'm working on being a "vendor" for Vogtland springs, so I'm kind of sort of soliciting (whence I'm approved), but, I'm a big fan of their springs (on my Focus and my old BMW 325) - great ride, great looks; some lowering springs have a tendency to be hard on stock (or stock type) struts - the 325 has had Vogtlands on it for two or three years now, struts are a-ok after living on crappy Tucson roads. I had set of H&Rs on my 320i, and with mild mod that took the car about 1/2" lower (i.e. not a lot) I blew out new KYBs in a couple months. I think guys are running the H&Rs on their foci here with no problems at all though.

Have I mentioned I'm fond of Vogtland products? :)

Two different packs. The one on the titanium gives you the 18s and a stiffer strut/shock combo I believe. And the ford racing kit has all different struts and shocks with ford racing springs and front and rear sway bars. The struts and shocks have euro part numbers.
