If your Subie dealer was smart they'd take it to a Ford dealer to try to improve the DCT performance under warranty. The Ford dealer I traded to didn't even take it for a drive, indicating they'd just fix anything that might be wrong under the factory warranty.
Happiness was part of my decision, another was safety. The car was too unpredictable. When the go pedal was depressed you never knew what it was going to do; sit there, go like a bat out of hell, or sit there for a random period of time then go like a bat out of hell.

Between the DCT and buggy MFT that Ford hasn't been able to fix, I decided to get out while the gettin' was good. Fortunately I bought mine on the D-plan which helped reduce the financial hit.

I still think the Focus is one of the best looking cars on the road, it's too bad Ford continues to ruin a terrific car by equipping them with a lousy transmission and infotainment system. If they did a better job of taking care of the problems and their customers I would have bought an ST instead of a Subaru.
