im just curious if anyone has had this installed in their focus? or had it come stock when they bought the car? i really want to be able to change my ambient lighting colors from the stock light blue.

My 2012 SEL had the ambient lighting package from the factory. It is a nice option, but honestly I always leave it on the blue...there are 2 shades of blue, green, orange, red, purple, white and off...i would say look in the salvage yards or ebay. I think $250 is too much to pay for that.

Building your own kit is a lot cheaper, and more fun!

There are several threads on this already. Here are a couple:

With the add on kit you won't get the factory dial in the roof. It comes with its own controller you just mount somewhere.

What size are the dome light bulbs? I am sure it is on another thread and perhaps I missed it. What are the best bulbs that you guys who have changed to HID have come across?

I changed my lower interior lights to HID blue bulbs that I bought on eBay, off the wall brand and they look great but the white, I thought I would get some recommendations.
