You can ask for a quote above, but don't say I didn't warn you to brace for the price, but it's worth every penny.

The North American specification outboard units are $370.42 USD each at MSRP based on my VIN. So that's $740.84 before we even get to taxes.

Even at a discount, say from Tasca or Autonation Ford white bear lake MN at $244.48 each x two that's 488.96, and if you have a 6% tax on that this is $518.2976 or roughly the same as the European specification ones.

But I'm not here to tell people what to spend their money on. If they feel comfortable spending thousands of dollars on lowered suspension, wheels, tires, or anything else be my guest, complaining about the cost of any given modification does not help the community as a whole.

For me this modification was well worth what it cost and it's why I get hesitant to tell people what things cost as they will say you spent what for what????

All I can say is you've got to pay to play, wether or not that's in the performance arena, the interior appearance/ trim/ functionality, or even just in deciding to go with an ST v.s. an S/SE/SEL/or Ti.

Sorry... I meant no disrespect with my post what so ever!

I 100% agree with you that you have to pay to play, and that we all pick and choose our mods with our own taste and what we are willing to pay for them. Don't get me wrong I think the added view is AMAZING and I would personally be the first inline to do this myself.

I sometimes feel that what ford charges for the cost of parts can be a little steep.

I never meant to push the community back with evolution. I think its amazing that you did your homework and research for this part and then took the time to share all the information you had collected with us.

For further clarity they did mistakenly charge VAT on the parts and have since refunded this to me. That explains the 51.32 GBP extra over the parts cost so it was only 128.29 GBP each not over 150. That's close to the same cost as the discounted us parts again.
Make sure to check as parts sold from the EU to outside of the EU aren't subject to VAT taxes but may be imposed import duties.

Less than that for two leather head restraints. ~$440 shipped for two, vs $494 each cloth restraint in Mexico.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread but is there a trick to removing the center headrest from the rear seat of a 2014 hatch? I've tried everything short of taking the seat apart and I cannot get that stupid thing out.

There is a second "flush mounted" release button on the other post hole... If that makes any sense. You have to push both to release the headrest.
