Flashing the high beam, both filaments on
In my Focus, I noticed that when you pull the high beam selector half way to hold it on high beam only while you hold it(manual describes this position as "flash" ), both filaments in the bulb are turned on.
I like to be able to hold in high beam for a bit, but not long enough to warrant set into "high beam" mode. When you click it into "high beam" mode, the low beam filament is turned off. The HB2 lamp isn't designed to have both filaments burning at the sametime. Is there something wrong with my car or do all Focuses do this? |
