maf sensor doesnt fit on cai

i purchased a kool vue intake and was guaranteed the intake was specific for my 07 focus. when the part arrived i checked the piping and the maf sensor does not fit since its square and the intake is round. any advice on how to make this work

I wouldn't bother.
Send the part back and let them know it wasn't correct.

Be sure to talk with the company and to get a return label or number.

Does the new CAI not have a MAF housing that you insert/mount the OEM MAF sensor into? If you say it does and it doesn't fit, contact the retailer and send it back.

Only "plus" is that it didn't fit B4 you got it on, the ones that "fit" but don't run right because of the wrong size MAF tube are even worse.

Round hole in the side for the MAF? Just not right.
