Think he was asking how loud it would be.

No muffler would be too loud to hear a voice IMHO.

I'm considering doing the same. Got a stright pipe, i could put on instead, but i waould be happy if an convesation inside the car wasn't impossible.

Welcome!

Need SOME kind of muffler in the middle to keep sound levels reasonable, doesn't need to be much of one to be useful. No big improvement going without one.
