Thanks guys, I live in CA so not sure what the laws are when it comes to what I can rinse down the drain and not worry about. It is raining here for the next few days so I will wait till its sunny to wash the engine off to make sure it can dry out. Is there a way to make sure I get the belts clean as well since the power steering fluid got on them too. I am getting a new alternator soon so I am not worried to much about getting that clean,
As for the battery being clean its a new battery with brand new cables and terminators, just bought them from ford last week. I do not have a battery cover though so not sure if I should get one or not.
~take it one day at a time~
