Water leak inside hatch

I was wondering if mk1s and svts had issues with water getting inside the hatch it's self cause I just put new lights in this spring and the one is out cause it's all rusty from moisture

yeah they have been known to leak at the lights in the rear hatch.

I have a leak in the hatch on my zx3 also. Mine looks like it coming up from the wheel wells but I have dig deeper to find it

Mine does the same thing. its an 05 i dont see any adjustments on it either. Dont know what to do to it.

Mine first leaked when I bought it -- was missing the rubber around the key lock. Bought a new plug and it hasn't leaked since.

Mine leaked in the driver corner. Pull out everything in the rear, and look where the cabin vents are. There's a seam of metal where two body panels meet. On my car, those two didn't touch at all and so any kind of rain left puddles in the spare well. Silicon it up!!
