I love WRC, and think these are the best drivers in the world. They typcially do very very well in the ROC (Race of Champions, which is NOT the IROC - ROC last year included every major series champion - NASCAR, F1, INDY, CART, WRC, F3000, ALMS, etc). But hen so do the NASCAR guys - Jeff Gordon won two years ago, but he is a WRC fan too.
But I do beg to differ that WRC uses real cars. They are about as real as NASCAR cars. They cost over $500,000 and nothing is used off of the stock car, not the chassis, body panels, stereo knobs, nothin. They are ultra high tech. Think about a 300BHP car (limited by rules) AWD car that can accelerate to 60 in under 4 seconds, stop and handle as well as any racing sports car, plus can then get the crap knocked out of it on totally rutted and rock strewn one lane gravel corridors.
But I must admit, they look real! In fact, I liked the "image" of the WRC Focus RS so much it is the reason I bought my SVT.
