Oh really? Hmm, that is good to know! I suppose he could just swap it with his other one then as well! Oh well, the offers there if you want it!

I swapped over to clear lenses some time ago from TRS.

You can opt to remove the foreground shield while you're there (not the cutoff shield), only the Focus E55 projectors have this second shield for some reason.

Thanks for the offer but I'll pass. Knowing me, I'll end up buying them and than trying to repair them both and having two sets of Machs. Not that that's a bad thing.

Going to bump this. I got the projectors apart a couple weeks ago; the issue is that both solenoids stick (mirrors move freely) at the end of there strokes and don't return. I've tried loosening them up with PB blaster but that only works temporary on one and not at all on the second.

Any more ideas if there is something I can do to save these solenoids?

Well, I figured I couldn't make anything worse if I took the solenoids apart, and sure enough, I found the issue. The metal cap inside the solenoid was covered in gunk causing to much friction for the spring to pull the slider back. After cleaning it and putting it back together, the solenoid and lights work perfectly again.

Here's a picture of the solenoid taken apart. The item at the bottom was causing the problem.
