i bet a vr6 jetta early 90s model on the highway. kinda funny cause he had the tip that look like it belonged on my brother's truck. he stared, i blew him a kiss to piss him off, he jumped in behind me and proceeded to get his ass spanked. 4th gear does wonders with your take-off around 70 in a ZX3. call the BS, cause i have 3 witnesses, shut it down at 105 when he couldnt catch up and i couldnt pull anymore

That depends entirely on the Vette. 70's and 80's Vette's are not at all fast (stock, mind you).

Audi A4 1.8ts are not meant to be fast cars. They're a bit heavy for that 1.8. Any SVTF should take one.

As far as the VW's go, they're 'ok'. Before I bought my car, I drove the Jetta and the GTI (both 1.8t) and wasn't overly impressed. The shifter felt like the gears were made of rubber bands. The turbo lagged something fierce and both cars had dangerous torque steer - so bad, in fact, I didn't even consider either car as one of my choices after I drove them (but they had the coolest power windows).

At any rate, the cars are too evenly matched to say who would walk who.
