It does sound like a tall tale but I honestly was not intending to buy a car when I left the house that day. I had to make a quick stop for my work on that side of town and instead of driving 40 miles for a 10 minute meeting, I thought to bring the family along and we would make a day of it by going out to lunch and other tooling around that part of town. We went to the mall but were out of there in 20 min so we went to lunch. While eating lunch I was thinking about what else we could do and I remembered seeing the ST online. Usually, the family responds to my requests to look at cars with we a big "NO!!!" but not this time.

Another factor in getting the car was that I figured it would be rare to see the car optioned out exactly like this again. Everything worked for me, ST3, color, stripes, & grey wheels. (unless I ordered it)

Given that it has HID headlights, it would be an ST3, right? Full black leather seats inside?

Looks great btw, congrats on the purchase! Our home purchase was similar, we found it on Craigslist (of all places) on a Friday, looked at it Sunday and put in an offer, and had the offer accepted later that night! When you see something you want you have to get it quick.

I like that they stop short of the panel edges and stand back from the blue oval

I had to ask
My sister inlaw drove around for nearly a year without wheel center caps on a brand new Toyota Venza
She was completely unaware that they should be there
