Need pistons and help, anyone have a set?

Just dropped the pan and found piston 3 skirt was completely destroyed in pieces laying in pan, cylinder wall looks ok though figure a new set of pistons should be the solution but any input would be appreciated. And does anyone know a good place for reasonable parts.

I too have used a set of new std size pistons and rings from eBay, working great, 180 psi compression. Lightly hone your cylinders with a drill and oiled hone, clean bore thoroughly and use plenty of oil to install new pistons. While you have the pan off and especially if you put the engine on a stand (you have to take the head off anyway so you might as well pull it!) you should put new main and big end rod bearings in as well, although my engine had 115 K miles on it - the bearings looked virtually like new, a testament to how good the Ford block is! And of course new front and rear seals. All these things are not that expensive, and your engine will be like new, good for another 100 - 150 K miles! Bob Scates 2000 SPI sedan
