So my new SVT needs work..

What a great first post right?

My old 1992 Paseo finally died at 320k miles, so I picked up an 02 Focus SVT just a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, two days ago I hit a deer at about 65 and destroyed the headlight, fender, bumper cover, grille, and hood. May have also got the cv.

The body shop is quoting about $2k to fix it. I'm a bit strapped, seeing as I'll be making payments on this car for the next three years. Question is, think it'd be easier to fix, or to pick up a standar focus body and swap? (Perhaps an escort? Got a 97 laying around...)

Anyway, looking for the cheapest way to not completely lose this investment. Ideas, tips, etc welcome

Any '00-'04 front end= fenders, hood, bumper cover, headlites, core support will work.

to add to that any 00-07 front will work as long as you be sure to get the hood bumper fenders and headlights when changing to the 05-07 parts,

If you buy a standard Focus bumper you won't have a place for your fog lights. I had to change the fender and bumper on my 04 SVT and bought a standard bumper without really looking.
