SVT door handle problem

Hey guys, my SVT drivers door handle is very loose. The handle itself that opens the door is loose. Hard to describe but it pulls all the way out with no force pulling on it. And sometimes the door will open and sometimes not. Any input? Thanks guys.

try taking the door panel off 2 8mm bolts in the handle and 5 or so t15 torx I believe and take the plastic moisture barrier off with a little heat from the heat gun and look at the back side of the handle I know some Hondas have a plastic bushing that wears out

I took off the door panel nothing was loose and the handle starting working as it should after the panel was removed. Worked great for a couple days and this morning it won't open at all, and the door will only latch closed if the door is locked when you shut it. Any ideas?

Try to hit inside of it with lots of lube. My SVT had same exact, if not similar symptoms, until I took off the door panel, pealed back the moister barrier, with some oil, I lubed up the inside of the door handle mechanism real good. Then when done I got some RTV stuff to seal the moister barrier back up. I know its Kind of a PITA but it saved me money and the embarrassment of getting in from my passenger door.

That's what I was thinking. Hit it with some white lithium.
