2013 TBM Focus SE Sport build thread

Hello everyone! I am starting off my build thread for my Focus. First I would like to introduce myself. I am Ryan, I'm 19 years old, and I'm from Chicago, IL. I bought my '13 Focus on July 1st of this past year after trading in my '11 Fiesta. I have done a few smaller mods to the car do far. I am saving up for an FSWERKS exhaust system & CAI, ST spoiler, V-Maxx coilovers , and a lip kit (haven't decided which one yet). I got a ways to go but it will. All be worth it. Anyways here is a couple pictures of my car!

So today for Christmas I got a set of Rokblokz mud flaps, 3M carbon finer vinyl, a Gluxlite interior/reverse LED package, and a DMB Ford logo overlay set. I installed everything except the logo overpays because it is too cold outside

**thanks to TheTwentieth & Chickenmuffin for the DIYs on how to remove radio surround and shifter pieces**

I've heard nothing but bad things about Vmaxx coilovers, jdub ditched the car partially because of them: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=349193

And here's some reviews: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=320882

Chicago weather kinda needs the adjustment that these don't offer.

Car looks good, though

Good thing you mentioned this.. the couple of people I talked to said they loved the coilovers. Looks like I may be looking into some other springs or coilovers now. Thanks again for bringing that up!

Car looks good bro! I did hear that vmaxx is refreshing the coils for direct fit. If you want to go super low without coils, do eibachs!

Eibach sportlines are a great choice, I run them and they are nothing short of amazing. Pair those with some koni yellows and your in business! Good job on the vinyl wrap. I like those flaps too btw.

Thank you!! Ya I actually did read that somewhere. I think the issue had to do with the rear coils or something like that. I have looked into springs a little, but then I gotta get shocks too, so we'll see!

I've heard that the Eibach springs are good. I havent heard anything but good reviews from those. How much does a set of shocks like those run? Thank you! It definitely turned out much better than I expected for my first time doing it.
