I'm also getting ready to do my battery relocation.

I have a temporary sub system going in, but it has the same box specs as what i want so I'm gonna go ahead and build the box and some framing for the trunk. flooring is gonna sit rougly 2" higher than it does now to make enough clearance for the batteries. Luckily they're only 7" tall so not much room will be sacrificed

Here's how I plan for it to look.

Just got a set of EAPs. Got the best deal ever at $300 for the set including the tires that are in great condition! Doing a little touch up this week and ordering some lowering springs. Any suggestions on springs? I want it all done at one time so i can get it aligned all at once.

I took some updated high res photos today. As you can see it's the same location as the original photos I took. This is before wheels get painted and the drop.

Wheels getting paint this week. Also bought some extended red lugs that will be going on. Should change the look quite a bit

Looks great! I want to see your finished sub install. I think it would be cool if you integrated it into the floor as well!

Change of plans on the sub install. I currently have the 8" E series Sundown in. I put it in a ported box tuned to 35 hz. It sounds good but I going to run a skar vvx-8 with a Rockford 500w amp. No need for a second battery. Should be heavier bass but still clean. Will conceal the amp in the spare wheel compartment, but sub will remain in the MDF box. Just need carpet!

Fyi, those instrument clusters aren't that hard to break open and paint. Also you should definitely do the painted head lights mod. If I didn't choose black this would absolutely be my second choice in color.

Gray and red look so good. Like the wing wounder if it would fit a MK3 without to much modding. Very nice ride...
