Depends on the car IMO. How "aggressive" do you want it?

First- It's an excellent affordable option to replace old worn parts for us enthusiast, so no matter the exact slight drop its better than what you started with.

Next- Drop "aggressiveness" is really subjective to what your looking at. I believe the Ford Racing upgrade claims 1.5" but it really happens is there is about a .5" gap that you will see. A mk1 is 1.5" drop, an SVT is 1", and Mk1.5(ST) and MK2 drop 1.5" in the front and like 4.5" in the rear. End results all sit about the tire with a little gap.

My opinion on the matter is that for most rides it perfect for a DD because its just enough your friends will notice but your coworkers wont. I think for the SVT its a really expensive drop if you didn't already need to replace your struts/shocks/spring already.

Also to add, for those plagued with winter, my brother has the kit on 17" SVT rims and I haven't heard any complaints as he drives it every day.
