Erratic handling

This is my first post I have a 2013 focus trend I believe its simulay to your se any way when I first picked up car I loved how it handled thought it was one of the best handling small cars I have ever driven but now after 30 k on the clock I find it's very erratic and prone to bump steer on the highway has been to ford many times had alignment and checked over but thet keep telling me nothing found. It just turn in and out of corners like it used to either.

Did you feel this over a long period of time? Or did it happen all of a sudden? Bump steer would say, somethings bent to me. How about your dampers, that have 30k on them now? I'd start there.

If the car had more miles, I said check the control arm bushings. The rear ones in particular when worn cause wandering. Maybe you got a bad one? I wore out mine in about that time on a much lighter Mk1, but that was with about 1000 miles on track.

Also, don't ignore the tyres. They have a bigger impact on how the car drives than anything else.

What is the recommend tire pressure? Look in the door, B pillar or inside the gas door.

I run 35 but that is because my 2012 is on the 16" Contis which are about as stiff as warm butter.

Thats something, you'd think they would put the pressure at the factory recommended pressure.

well its not alignment just got that done no difference. it now also feels like one of the front tyres has a flat spot there is a kind of vibration through whole car(feels like front end is jumping up and down very fast) I wonder if I have a faulty front strut now.Its booked into ford next week to solve.
