Need suggestions for 2001 front brakes

I did read the read first stuff, but thinking since 2001 there must be BETTER stuff & suggestions from y'all who have used much of the stuff. I'm confused on all the DIFFERENT rotor stuff, some with many grooves some with just 3, some with both grooves & drilled. Suggestions on drilled & slotted rotors and BEST pads, Thought about SVT conversion but donor sellers are just too much$$ This car has OVER 200,000 miles and just want a better stop before it croaks. Thanks

Centric blank rotors with Hawk HPS (high performance street) pads have been a common suggestion for better performance at a reasonable price while just replacing the wear items you would need to do anyways.

Check out doing the conversion to 2005 plus stock front brakes if you want something even better on a budget.

Sticking with good rotors & pads is best for the budget unless you need to replace other items anyways. Seeks like what you're looking for.
