Anyone use Meguiars NXT 2.0?

I want to get a good sealant on my new Focus and my wife's '13. I am a diehard Meguiars fan but have never used the NXT 2.0. Just thought I'd see what those who have used it think. Shine, durability, how is it to use (streak, easy on/off). I am a big fan of the Yellow Wax in paste form, am gonna go over whatever sealant I decide on with that.

I had the clean up kid put a good coat of wax on my car when they cleaned it for delivery but that fast wax they use lasts about a month if that. This is my first white car, I've only owned red vehicles with the occasional blue here and there and am out of the loop on the best wax/sealant to really give white the deep wet look. The reviews I have read on the NXT 2.0 thus far have been decent. Any suggestions for white would be appreciated. Thx!

yellow wax is one of the easiest to use
lots of used car dealers will use it for shine up
I think its hard to go wrong with any Meguires products IMO

The NXT 2.0 (Liquid) is a good all around wax, Nothing too fancy and gets the job done. I would say its about average. Most recently Ive used the Ultimate Liquid Wax, goes on super easy and buffs out nicely, I prefer it over the NXT 2.0.

Meguiars does make a White Wax as well if your looking for something specific for White.

I have been meaning to try that Ultimate Liquid Wax. I was under the impression that the NXT 2.0 was a sealant? If it is I may just do the NXT 2.0 then go over it with a coat of the Ultimate.

I will probably just go with my old stand by: Meguairs Synthetic Sealant 2.0. It hasn't failed me yet. All I will use is Meguairs products but may try some of the others you guys have posted about.

I find turtle wax ice products great for me, we will see how long it lasts this winter. I did two coats of wax and every wash I do I quickly spray with detailing spray wax. Great part is no taping off of plastic/rubber

I went with Liquid Glass Polish than went over it with a coat of Collinite wax. I am sold on the Collinite. Great stuff, Liquid Glass is a great polish/sealant.

I have been using the NXT for years. I have found that it works best if you have the wax chilled. shake it up well and put it in the fridge the night before you plan to use it. Then shake again before use. Goes on well and comes off easy with Microfiber. Apply the wax to the entire car and let it set up for a bit before buffing.

Also, I have had good luck when I do the following process

Strip car - wash with dish soap.
Wash car with good car wash.
Clay bar
Car wash
Compound wax
Car wash
Finish with NXT.

My crappy cell phone shots from the last detail I did on my Escape.. but reflection is great and the paint is very "soft" after. I personally prefer it. I am sure there are other good options as well. I wouldnt steer you away from it though.

Their ultimate liquid wax lasts longer than nxt and a lot easier to apply and won't stain trim. If you're worried about longevity look into a coating such as gtechniq c1.
