I like power, I once had a T-Bird that was scarey. 302 high output. I was used to a Grand AM v-6. I would be doing 80 and not even know it. Fast car--biggest piece of shite I ever owned.

See, now you've gone off-topic and bypassed the swear filter so I have to ban you.

My last fast car was '94 Z-28. Since then I've learned that I don't want to go fast anymore. But I like to tinker and would much rather work on cars than aircraft. So I prefer to have my car a little quicker than stock, but it doesn't go past speed limit +5. I also like it relatively quiet and get good mileage, which is why I don't run the Steeda all year.

Snorkel delete.

All those little holes in the stock snorkle are a silencer. They quiet the noise from the intake.
Sort of like a gun silencer.. Or the holes in the inner parts of some muffler designs..

They may flow a little air too.. But the main reason for them is to make the intake quiet. The sound wave pressure travelling out gets broken up by the holes...

Snorkel delete.

Idk why I quoted this

BUT

Do you keep your snorkel off when you're running the steeda? Or just th K&N? I run the steeda and wasn't sure if it'd make a difference. How much louder is the car with the delete with the steeda intake, with the steeda being as loud as it is anyways.

Once I took the snorkel off of the car I threw it away. I doubt it makes a difference with any of the aftermarket intakes, but it definitely won't hurt them or make them any quieter.
