Front Wheel Bearing Kit

Hi all,

I have just had the Front Wheel Bearings replaced on my 2004 ZX5 and the ABS appears to be engaged all the time.

When I bought the Bearing kit the retailer assured me that the same kit fitted ALL Focus models from 2000 to 2011.

I was wondering if the bearings for the ABS equiped variants differ from the non-ABS equipped cars.

Thanks

DaveD

Looking at the rockauto.comcatalog, it says the front bearings are the same w/ or w/o abs. How 'bout a abs sensor? Is it plugged in? Pinched wires? The bearings get pressed in & out of the spindle.

Thanks for the reply Felix. I'll take a look underneath her tomorrow.

If they put the bearings in backwards, the ABS sensor won't "see" the bearing turning and think the wheel has locked up.
