Head milled .020 oem head gasket possible?

Hi Guys need help trying to decide just put oem head gasket on after head has been milled .020. I read about timing issues and destructive engine knock after milling. Could not find anywhere on net Ford milling limits. The shop that milled sold me a head shim (aka head saver) but I am not comfortable with that seems like sealing nightmare. Can I just use Motorcraft Head gasket and be done.
Thanks

I did not ask them to cut that much. I took the head to have it check for cracks and have it recondition. Purchased this SVT that was not running due to blown head gasket.I got head checked, valve shim adjustment and they say it was necessary to mill it.

Im going to put the OEM head gasket on without the Shim (head saver). I keep you all posted. Thanks Tom you confirmed what I was thinking. Found out that .020 is the limit on the SVT cylinder head from machine shop.
