Data logging A/F with XCAL2 and autometer phantom wideband

I need some to shine some light on this. I have searched google, and 7 pages of threads, searched and can't seem finish this.
The set up: xcal2, autometer phantom wideband, 2000 turbo ZX3, mini din 9 cable and USB 3 cable for XP laptop.
I found some stuff and the info got me this far; I got the cable cut the end and found the 5V end off the XCAL and the 5V end off the wideband, the wideband ground has already been connected to a ground as per the original install.
My question is this, how do I fugure out which one is the ground wire off the mini din 9 cable end that I cut off, I have tried testing DC voltage, ohms, continuity and have not been able to pin point which one is the ground wire on this cable. The previous drawings do not match my cable because the analog wire is orange and the previous thread call for blue or black to be analog. The cable came from SCT directly, well bought off summit but drpped shipped from SCT.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance to all,

Richie
