Focus Dashboard lights shutting off and Stalling

I purchased a 2010 Ford Focus SE Four Door in the spring and I just started having a problem with it. I was driving to my fiances house and I let the car warm up in the driveway for about 10 minutes with no issues, started driving it, and I noticed the dashboard lights started to go on and off, this continues all the way till I got there (about 8 miles) . It also stuttered on take off at a stop light. (felt like driving with somebody who never drove a stickshift car before.(its a manual trans by the way)) I then let the thing sit all day untill I went home and I again warmed it up for 5-10 minutes (live near chicago 16 degrees out) made it about a block down the street and it completly stuttered again then stalled out and wouldnt come back on. No check engine light, no nothing accept a battery light that came on for a couple seconds. If I tried to turn it back on you could here the starter turning the motor for about 5 seconds after I let go of the key and it would not start. If I let it sit for a few minutes it would ussually start, but It would stall soon after.

My brother in laws are both diesel mechanics and they checked the basic stuff like battery and alternator and they where both good.

He also talked to some other ford guys and they had no clue what was going on with.

Here is the kicker I am at 37000~ miles on this pos just out of the bumper to bumper. I just sold my high milage 99 Cobra to get this for reliablity...so much for that.

Any help would be appreciated. I am bringing it to a Ford dealership tomorrow and they are charging me $110 just to look at it. I have had 4 Fords so far and this will be my last if they cant figure this out cheaply. This shit shouldnt happen 1000 miles out of warranty.

sounds to me like a line off the battery or a ground is shorting out which will keep the battery from charging which is why it stalled, and why the dash was going nuts.
