Steering wheel controls

My steering wheel controls do not light up when my lights are on. On other cars(non fords) they do. The controls still work I just found that kind of strange. Am I dumb or is it broke

2009 focus wiring diagram shows led lights inside radio control and cruise control switches. Power and ground is fed through clock spring. Supplied by same circuit that supplies to shifter and main light switch.

I don't have shifter lights cuz i have the mtx75 but the light switch is fine and horn works which I believe is ran off the clock spring also so it must be something messed up in the actual cruise and radio control buttons. Thanks

Hey fawzie13R and sandfantom,

Have you been to your dealer to have these concerns looked over? You may locate one here.

Let me know and I'll look into next steps.

Todd

Ok I noticed another issue that just might tie into the steering wheel controls but my traction control, drivers info screen controls and the button that changes my interior lights doesn't light up and I'm pretty sure they should light up yes?

I haven't been able to take it to the dealer I bought it from because it's 2hrs away, I searched to find my foci.
