starter inatant death

Took car to shop to get clutch put in get it back 3 days later and starter will not turn or make any noise it will start if pushed And u pop the clutch never had any starting problems can it just fail with no warning? Never heard of this also mechanic says leaking thermostat housing will cause clutch to fail again is this all bs?

Check under the car on the drivers side, look to see if any fluid is on the transmisson. It could be Leaking Brake fluid out of the clutch slave cylinder. That could contaminate the clutch. and if it is leaking you may have no pressure in the system. Which is basily like not having the clutch at all.

Brake fluid is not leaking at all coolant is dripping from t stat housing on to transmission can that be a issue for the clutch?
