Zx3 paint help?

I have a 2001 focus zx3, it's sangria red, But i noticed there are a few(roughly about 12) small coin sized spots on the hood and bumper of peeling clear coat. Most are about the size of nickles with some ranging to quarters. I don't really mind them, yet i don't want them to spread and become bigger. Should i worry about them spreading?, Is there any products that could help?, or Is it due for a paint job? and if so roughly how much is a paint job?

Most likely they will keep spreading slowly.

Personally, if you don't mind the look of them, I'd just leave it. If they annoy you already or in the future, get the bumper and hood repainted; however, the cost of repainting is not cheap unless you can do it yourself.

I'm not sure on the prices but I've heard bumpers run around $400 for a quality job and lifetime warranty. The cost of repairs won't increase if the clearcoat spots get larger as long as the basecoat and primer don't chip as well and develop rust.
