Gear Cable Nylon Bush

G'Day Guy's. The Nylon Bush on the gear box end of my gear cable shattered the other day. Is it possible to buy them non genuine anywhere. My local Ford dealer will only sell me a complete cable. I have a 2009 Focus Gia with the 2l Durotec and Auto gearbox.

I used cable ties on mine, but that was on an '01 and '03. Not sure if they changed the design for your model year.
The first one lasted over 100k kms before needing replacement, the second is still holding after 180k kms. Stupid that they won't sell you just the bushing...but sadly more common all the time to sell complete assemblies and not individual parts.

Thnks for the info, Since I started asking I've been told it's a common problem, someone else has suggested some plastic tube. I'll have to get underneath and see what frigs i can come up with.
