Engine problems?

I was perusing Consumer Reports recently and I noticed that they gave the various turbo versions of Fords engines low marks for reliability.
Now I know they give Sync low marks(and I agree with them)but why the turbos?

Low reply counts.

If 3 people reply with problems and 4 with accolades ...
It's all a numbers game.

More likely the 1.6L turbo recall. Did they differentiate between 2.0L and 1.6L?

It seems that all turbo charged engines made by Ford get low scores.

A buddy of mine works in service at a local Ford dealer. He mentioned to me one day that they have seen a good number of problems with the EcoBoost cars. I didn't dig further to get more info on specifically what they were seeing, it just happened to come up in conversation. Purely anecdotal observation but now you have me interested to ask him more about it next time I see him.
