They think the SVT focus is a piece of shit, im a member of the forums there. If you mention a regular focus or a focus st, you won't even get a response. SRT-4 owners give me a little more respect because we are both domestic, but rsx type s owners think are cars are garbage. Funny thing is one of them thought their stock rsx s was a better handler lol.

I have looked at a couple in and out and wasnt very impressed but it was ok. If they think the Type-S is so hot then why hasnt it been car of the year or even compared to anything in its class. I dont think they are very sought after.

I bet if both cars had the same after market mods. The SVT could take it. But not stock. But the SVT is more of an all around car. It looks way better, handles better, and I beleave better built and funner to drive. And not to mention that us Ford Drivers are way cool..

i know a thing or two about a thing or to and since ive been in and driven both car i will tell you that the rsx s is one bad motha, and even a stv with a few mods will still have a hard time keeping up. my friend has a rsx s and he smoked my v6 bird, and smoked my friends 04 mustang gt. for a car that pumps out 200+ ponys in a 4 banger well the skys the limit. add a turbo charger, SC what ever and they are bad ass probly smoke my old lt1 formula
fyi stock times in a rsx s are about mid 6's to 60 and about o high 14's low 15's
so whoever said they arent fast is almost true, but they are faster than our focus svt even the st. oh yeah the rsx's doesnt even handle as good as out svt would ( i wish i had an svt)
plus it is better looking IMO

sorry, but like popecruz said, mod for mod, I havent seen someone in an SVTF pull a low 14 to high 13 with just intake, exhaust and a tune. In stock form its got about 30hp more (40hp in the new models) and only lacks 3trq. Plus its geared for acceleration, not autocrossing.

Ek hatch
- JDM b16 (SiRII) swap, Kaaz 1.5 way LSD, Evo2 exhaust, shorty intake, hi-flow cat, B&M 2-bend shifter, gutted, lightweight bucket CF seats, weighs in @ 2250lbs
