Uneven shifter play

Hey folks I'm most likely about to purchase another SVT with low miles. The only problem I've seen with the car after a test drive was the shifter seems to go towards the left (neutral to left) much easier than middle to right. I've been looking around and it seems the bushing might be bad. I know a replacement can be had from CFM but is it a hard install? Or could it be something else? I had to replace the clutch myself on the Orange SVT and I don't ever wanna have to drop the tranny out again.

The install is very easy on the replacement bushing. I'd personally couple it with a short throw shifter (CFM has an adjustable one) and a side linkage (again CFM has this part).

And I'd follow the above advice to adjust the shift cables before doing anything else.

I'd also think about removing the counter weight on the shift linkage but seeing as you already drive an SVT you probably already know that trick.
