The Ti-VCT has an accessory belt tensioner. There is no tensioner on the compressor belt.

I was thinking about your post the other day. Is it possible it was a puff of clutch smoke? Have you smelled that telltale odor of friction material?

Got an email from the Service Manager about an hour ago regarding my excessive oil consumption. He stated that they found a lot of oil in the intake, which indicates the pcv system is not operating properly. So they went ahead and replaced it. Hopefully this is the solution.
