221's ZX4 Duratec Turbo build

Hello all,

Finally my Focus is boosted. Had a turbocharger sitting on my trunk for almost 1 year. At the first moment I received wrong downpipe and manifold, those parts were designed for Mazda 3 and Volvo C30, and Focus Mk2 as well, nice parts btw.
Then I sold the manifold for a guy who is boosting a Volvo C30.
Last month I found a F2 manifold (thanks K Dog) and started the build. The downpipe had to be entirely modified, almost a new part. So I put turbo and manifold at my garage then took the car to the exhaust shop to finish the manifold.

So, turbo is a GT28R, no intercooler yet but it's on my sight. The IAT is a little high. Boost is at 8psi, I would like 6psi but there is no thread left on the wastegate rod, will need a new wastegate.
And Tom is working on the tune. I'll post some pictures later.

I'm wondering about the Cosworth IM and 8psi will give more than the stock engine can handle... Anyone running this setup here?

F2 coated manifold

Agree. When boost comes, the IAT goes high VERY fast.
