Really? That's even more irritating, because along with my '13 ST I bought three '13 Titaniums, and that wasn't an option. Ford's moving backward.

Mine was a '12 so I'm not sure if they removed that feature in 2013.

My understanding was that Ford is no longer wiring the power to the roof to support the mirror or the HomeLink in the visor. The ST was probably the leading edge of this change, late enough in the 2013 model year that it came after this decision.

The ST mirror is mounted directly to the windshield class, so a wire coming out into space to get there would be a little ugly. Even gluing it to the windshield wouldn't be great. Easier to wire if there were an arm projecting forward from the roof to support the mirror. That theory doesn't apply to the HomeLink, though.

Probably just cost savings, in the end. But it's a shame, because one of the things I like about the Focus is that it's actually fairly high end: quiet, well behaved, lots of nice touches and luxury features, showing that small cars don't have to be crappy entry-level vehicles.

Yeah, the only tap-able switched power I could find in my roof was for the moonroof. If I didn't have that option I'd have had to run it down the A pillar to who knows where.

My Ti had the rain sensing wipers as well so it had a huge plastic cover leading from the roof liner to the mirror to house all the power cables. I much prefer the minimalist mirror on my ST even without the power mirror.

I do miss my homelink though, I used that daily.

10/24/2014 --- Just bought a new 2014 Focus ST --- Love it but hate the Recaro Seats. I hope the bottoms open up some for my rear end and my wife feels the same --- love the car, but hate the seats... Way way to cramped in the butt area!

Yeah.. I like some aspects of them (look cool) but not ideal...

They need the option to tilt the seat not just go up and down

it would also be nice to have lumbar adjusters or like on my Se-R Spec-V the option to dial up or down the ass area so you could sit deeper in the seat or higher so it held you in or gave more leg width room on the sides.

Why couldn't ford use the mustang seats for the base seats? I really don't get the recaro's like those in both ST's.
