suspension questions

I have a 98k mile Svt zx5 and the suspension is original...I'm not looking to lower the car but I'm looking to make it better..suggestions?
I'm considering getting the stock Svt kit springs and all..is it good
Also thinking of getting bigger sway bars front and rear... or just replace with new bushings

I'm not looking for a corner carving car...its a daily driver..so not looking for a harsh ride...I live in NYC and the roads are terrible
Thanks in advance

That will completely refresh your suspension to factory new. As far as sway bars, seeing as you are only using it for daily driver I'd just get new sway bar bushings and end links.

yes, both.

if you weren't interested in making the ride harsher, then a new SVT suspension is really the best compromise of cushioning ride with nimble handling.

New SVT Shocks should do the trick since you already have the springs and would save you a few more $'s. I would imagine your springs are still decent but you never know since you live in a salt laden state with harsh winters and it isn't much more to get the springs and shocks together.

I just put on the svt suspension and I highly recommend it. Way less body roll and more predictability in the turns but still smooth over the rough bumps.

i agree, unless you check out the springs and they are broken/ really rusted out, just swap out the shocks/dampers. Check your front/rear endlinks and poly bushings for the rear.

Replace my stock 07 for a SVT set up(shocks struts and sways) with end links. love it! Makes ride a little harder but so much more responsive.
