It's easier to sell them that way, for sure!

Also, depending on your results you may want to do it to the Mach's if/when you buy them.

Yeah, I'll probably be looking to get a whole new set of headlights instead of trying to retrofit my current ones.

My headlights looked just like yours. After trying a 3m kit I was disappointed so I started wet sanding with 1000 grit After wasting a lot of time I ended up sanding with 280 grit in one direction (maybe even coarser, I don't remember) until I got all the pits out then a finer grit in the opposite direction and so on. I finished up with the 3m kit and my headlights looked like brand new. Be sure to put masking tape on the body around the headlight.
