Looking at time slips is fun. 2.2 60's are pretty good for a FWD on street tires. Did you still spin a good amount?

Honestly not really. The track was prepped extremely well that night. It was probably a best case scenario as far as weather and track conditions go. Some RWD cars were pulling 1.9s and 1.8s.

Orlando Speed World does a phenomenal job with their track, it was even just re-surfaced. I have a hard time believing the track prep, they have the best track manager in the state of Florida, I doubt he has let it slip, on top of that I am there almost every weekend, and the only people I hear complain are the one's disappointing in their times.

Anyway's next time your out their let me know, I am usually by a Camaro near the fence at half track.

And hell I used to pull 1.7's on street tires on a stock Camaro with a stalled auto trans. They do great there.

I'm sure my driving had a lot to do with it and yeah that track has done a 180 for the better but I still feel that on that night the track wasn't at 100%. My car was spinning second and it can't even chirp second on the street haha. The most recent time I was there, however the track was perfect. I'm glad the new owners saved the track.

You have to wait for quite a few cars to run before you before you run. I was the first one to run on the new track right after the re-surface and I about put my Z28 into the wall from the start, then spun till 80, let off and ran a god awful 16.4. Later that night I launched my Z28 at 2200RPMs (AUTO) did spin at all 1.724 60 foot, 13.433 1/4 mile, needless to say I was happy.

PM me next time your out there and if I can make it I will. I live right by the track in East Orlando.

I'm still very new to drag racing so I don't know any of those things haha. I'll definitely let you know next time I go though.
