Exclamation Stronger front hubs 2002 SVT

I have a 2002 SVT that is a dedicated track car. I recently broke my left front hub, which snapped the axle as well.
I have a real need for some stronger hubs. The one that broke was aftermarket and I do not have the factory hubs any longer.

we have seen problems here on the guys that race as well. The factory ones seem to hold up better.

In what way did it break? Can you post a pic of the broken hub?
Did it break under normal track use or on contact with a curb or rumble strip or something?
Did your original break too and that's why you had an aftermarket one?
Sorry for all the questions; I just want to find a solution also *smiley face*

Factory hubs r slightly better than the aftermarket, the torque on the axle nut must be double checked after every session. Camber and tires also contribute to the load transfer. Slicks or dot r tires, width also. Look at offset. Brand of bearings also play a part. They all break just put them on a schedule of replacement and like we do carry a spare complete hub for both sides. Or go custom which will cost a ton, but depending on amount of track time u may need to just bite the bullit.

It broke flush with the bearing. The bearing is still in great shape, except for the fact the piece of hub is stuck in it. I will try and get a photo uploaded soon. It was normal track day at VIR North course, which does put a lot of load on the left hub.
