the tiger paw's are not a great winter tire, but compared to your all season firestones they'll be 100% better in snow...we sell 1000's of them every winter and don't hear too many complaints!

this is my thinking.

they'd be decent in snow vs the generals, however i think the general would win hands down on ice.

but any snowtire is better than an all season.
