In my short time on this forum I see more bitching and complaining about petty nonsense than any forum I'm registered. Talk about buzzkill! Until I find a car with seats as comfortable as my recliner they all suck.

Doesn't it seem backwards to complain about complaining?

The seats in the 06 fusion we had were bad. The drivers seat was just wrong from the factory. Other fusions weren't bad but that seat was terrible.

I agree with you Fuess, my 04 sti seats were the the worst. Funny thing was they go for crazy money second hand because they say Sti on them. My focus seats seem fine to me however i havent taken any long trips yet.

My 2012 sport package cloth seats are nice. NO comfort issues except the non adjust headrest.
I find Ford seats in general to be good.
VW are the worst of all. VW seats are like hard park benchs.. I doubt iwould ever buy a VW mainy due to the seats sucking.

Love the way my seats feel, both for city and long distance drives. The only issue I have is after a while I have to adjust the lower back support. But other than that, no issues here.

As with everything, this is an individual preference. I like the leather seats in my Focus and have done several long trips without any discomfort. But I can understand others that can have issues. Our bodies are different and what is comfortable for one can be very uncomfortable for another.

I didn't like the seats in my mazda6 at first but I got used to them. The bottom part of the seat is short and for a while felt like you was sitting on a bar stool. It was more annoying than uncomfortable. Noticed it more once I rode in a new accord then went back to the mazda the new accord seats are amazing.

But like I said I like them now as long as I stay out of other cars.

I have that center rear arm rest with cup holders in my mazda. The passengers always seem to like it.
